About the Event

  • Review of common STIs that are of concern including HSV, HPV, GC/Chlamydia, and HIV.
  • Understand how to decrease transmission while maximizing pleasure
  • Understand the roles of risk tolerance and taking a harm reduction approach
  • Understand the role of social networks. 
  • Discussing the risks specific to non-monogamy, kink play and queer sexuality.
  • Asking for what you need from your healthcare provider
  • Practice STI disclosure by role playing with each other. 
  • End with a Q & A period

This class will be interactive and based on advice from the USPSTF and the US CDC.
